EN Merlin is a sculptural candlestick that takes its place on the table as a presence.
Between design and art, it does not seek to define itself but rather to blur boundaries, transforming a familiar object into a singular and expressive form.
Composed of a metal structure and a resin volume, it brings together precision and accident, control and materiality. Resin, rarely used in this context, is crafted in an artisanal way, revealing its variations, bubbles and imperfections.
Each piece is therefore unique, shaped by the gesture and the process, carrying a sensitive dimension that goes beyond its function.

FR Merlin est un bougeoir sculptural qui prend place sur la table comme une présence.
Entre design et art, il ne cherche pas à trancher mais à troubler les frontières, transformant un objet familier en une forme expressive et singulière.
Composé d’une structure en métal et d’un volume en résine, il met en dialogue rigueur et accident, précision et matière. La résine, peu utilisée dans ce registre, est travaillée de manière artisanale, laissant apparaître ses variations, ses bulles, ses aspérités.
Chaque pièce est ainsi unique, marquée par le geste et le processus, et porte en elle une dimension sensible qui dépasse sa fonction.
